Stay at your post and guard the first line of quality

Quality is the foundation of a company's survival and development. Our company specializes in the research, development, and production of insulating and fire-resistant silicone-based polymer materials for wires and cables, as well as ceramic and silicone tapes. Vapor-phase fumed silica, silicone oil, and raw rubber are the core raw materials in our production process. As the first line of quality control, incoming material inspection (IQC) plays a crucial role. The quality of raw materials directly determines the quality of the final products. Ensuring rigorous incoming material inspection is the first defense in maintaining product quality.
First, foster a sense of responsibility and maintain the first line of defense for incoming materials.
IQC is the first checkpoint for materials entering the factory. The inspection of appearance, performance, and documentation for each batch of incoming materials must be meticulous. Any defective materials overlooked due to negligence can flow into production, leading to rework, scrap, or even delays in customer deliveries. In the workplace, simply completing sampling and recording is not enough; responsibility for each batch of incoming materials must be upheld. When encountering damaged outer packaging, discrepancies between test reports and physical items, or deviations in performance indicators, immediate feedback must be provided, and exceptions should be reported promptly without harboring any侥幸心理, ensuring issues are intercepted before production begins.
Second, adhere to the results mindset—do not regard completion as the end goal, but aim for a closed-loop solution to the problem.
Completing inspection records does not mean the work is finished. Often, when incoming materials are defective, simply filling out inspection records and stopping there—without synchronizing issues with suppliers or following up on improvements—will lead to recurring problems of the same nature. In daily work, after making inspection determinations, we must also follow up on material anomalies: report incoming material issues to procurement and relevant leaders, have them notify suppliers, continuously track corrective measures, confirm improvement effectiveness, and prevent problems from recurring.
Third, maintain high standards—either do nothing or strive for perfection when taking action.
Incoming material inspection must strictly comply with inspection standards, ROHS regulations, and other control criteria, without tolerating minor errors. For recurring minor flaws, avoid the mindset of "good enough." When reviewing supplier-provided inspection reports, carefully verify production dates and performance data to ensure consistency between documentation and physical items. During testing, operate instruments according to standardized procedures, meticulously record data, and guarantee accurate inspection results.
Quality is the foundation of corporate development. Although the IQC position may seem ordinary, it carries significant responsibility. In our future work, the Quality Department will continue to uphold strictness in every inspection, rigorously control incoming materials, collaborate with all departments, minimize material anomalies, and safeguard the quality of the company's products.
