Product description
Ceramic fire-resistant silicone rubber is a new composite material which can be vitrified at high temperature. Fire resistant silicone rubber is quickly burned into a hard and complete shell at the temperature of 500-1000 ℃, which ensures that the wires and cables will not be damaged in case of fire, and plays a solid protective role in the smooth flow of power and communication. Ceramic fire-resistant silicone rubber can replace mica tape as fire-resistant layer of fire-resistant cable. In particular, the medium and low voltage fire-resistant wire and cable can not only be used as fire-resistant layer, but also as insulation layer at the same time.

Main characteristics
1 The self-supporting ceramic body is formed in the flame.
When the rubber material containing inorganic fillers is exposed to the flame, the rubber will degrade or burn. After the degradation or combustion products volatilize, the inorganic residue or ash with lower strength will be left. These residues are usually not agglomerated or self-supporting, or even broken into particles or powders, so they have no fireproof effect. When the ceramic rubber with special design formula is exposed to the flame, depending on the rubber variety and formula adjustment, the ceramic can be produced in the range of 500 ~ 800 ℃ or above, and sintered into porous self-supporting ceramic body. The structural integrity can be maintained within a certain time (0.5 ~2h), which can play a good role in "passive fire prevention" and win valuable time for fire safety.
2 It has certain strength and good thermal shock resistance.
The sintered body after vitrification is relatively hard, there is ceramic sound when knocking, and it has certain bending strength and press through strength. The bending strength of the ceramic silicone rubber is much higher than that of the ordinary silicone rubber, and it increases obviously with the increase of temperature. The sample with high temperature ablation was sprayed with water during the simulation of fire fighting process, and the results show that the sintered body of the ceramicized silicone rubber does not crack and shows good thermal shock resistance.
3 Halogen free, low smoke, low toxicity, self extinguishing, environmental protection.
The ceramic silicone rubber can achieve the effect of flame retardant and self extinguishing without adding halogen flame retardant. The flame retardant UL94V-0. Under the ablation of the flame, the smoke will be completely cut off after being burned for a few minutes, and no smoke will be generated in the next ablation process. Carbon dioxide, water and silicon dioxide produced by combustion of ceramic silicone rubber are non-toxic substances.
4 Good electrical performance.
The electrical properties of the optimized ceramic silicone rubber the volume resistivity before sintering is not less than 1015 Ω• With the increase of sintering temperature, the volume resistivity decreases. After burning at 1000 ℃ for 30 min, the volume resistivity decreases to 107 Ω• cm.
5 Easy to process.

It can be directly extruded and vulcanized into wires and cables with silicone rubber wire and cable equipment without additional equipment. Usage and operation
1. Open the mill for about 3-5 minutes to make the rubber roll and mix evenly.
2. Then add the color paste to make it even (if necessary), and then add the curing agent. Roll 10 to 15 rolls to make the curing agent evenly dispersed in the rubber, and the rubber surface becomes smooth.
3. After the rubber is rolled down, it forms a sheet. Each piece is separated by a membrane.
If it is hot curing, it is recommended to add bis (2,4-sulfurizer). Dosage: 1% of glue weight.
If it is continuous or die pressed, it is recommended to add double five-year vulcanizing agent. Dosage: 1-1.2% of the glue weight.
The curing temperature is 170 ℃ - 350 ℃. The specific setting depends on the equipment, extrusion speed and product specifications.
Safety and Storage
* The normal temperature shelf life of silica gel is 12 months. It is recommended to use it within 3 months. If it is beyond 3 months, the mixing time of the product will be extended.
